Play Helen off Keyboard Cat. And then join Daryl and John. (via crujones42)
I am now complete. In all that is good…this is the best thing I have ever seen.
Meet me in Montauk #3
I’m not a concept Joel. I’m just a fucked up girl who’s looking for my own piece of mind.
— Clementine
“Blessed are the forgetful: for they get the better even of their blunders.”
— Friedrich Nietzsche
I think I just barfed in my mouth a little watching this…. Kill me now.“The Net WWW Dot Explained” / Everything Is Terrible
…the ending is creepy… cooger den!
I thought this was an SNL sketch for the first 30 seconds. It should be.
Meet me in Montauk
I think my favorite movie is Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
Both in what it represents and the techniques used in filming it. Even the ending leaves us unknowing what the outcome actually is. There is no resolution. No closure. Do events actually end or do Joel and Clementine repeat the cycle endlessly?
A constant Groundhogs Day?
A once in a lifetime “do over”?
Maybe moments one must relish while they exist for they may never happen again?
My favorite lines in the movie…
Clementine: This is it, Joel. It’s going to be gone soon.
Joel: I know.
Clementine: What do we do?
Joel: Enjoy it.
Yes. Enjoy it now for it may be gone before you know it. Then again, you may get that chance to do it all over again. One never knows.
